PreBid Info:   A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Village Clerk’s Office, 223 Main Street site at 10:00 am local standard time on Thursday, September 27, 2018. The meeting will be followed by a visit to the Concert Hall so Contractors can familiarize themselves with the existing building and site. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend.

Bid Info:   Your firm is invited to submit a proposal for the project known as the Brownville Concert Hall Addition, located at 126 Atlantic St., Brownville, NE 68321 before 2:00 pm local standard time on Thursday, October 18, 2018. Bids shall be submitted to the Village of Brownville at the following address: Office of the Village Clerk, 223 Main Street, Brownville, NE 68321, ATTN: Kay Fish. At that time, Bids will be opened and read aloud. A bid is invalid if it has not been deposited at the location noted above prior to the time and date for receipt of bids indicated in this Advertisement for Bids, or prior to any extension thereof issued to the bidders. Bids delivered in person must be delivered between the following hours: 9:00-10:30 a.m. on M-F.

Project Description: The project includes a 380 S.F. two story addition to an existing 2,045 S.F. wood framed building, located at 126 Atlantic St. in Brownville, NE. The project is intended to create accessibility for the Concert Hall and basement reception areas. The addition will include an entrance lobby at ground level, with a wheelchair lift to the basement and performance hall levels, a main floor accessible family restroom, and minor renovations to the existing building interior. Improvements to the exterior of the existing building and site will also be included- some by Bid Alternate. There will be three (3) bid alternates total.



Job Purchase Information:
Bid Documents may be obtained from the office of A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, (402) 592-4950, upon receipt of a refundable deposit in the amount of $100.00 payable to Village of Brownville.
Only Complete Sets of Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial sets will be issued.
CD's and Downloads containing a complete set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $30.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $35.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

The entire deposit will be refunded upon the return of these documents, including any addenda issued thereto, to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, in good condition, within 15 business days of the bid opening.
