PreBid Info:   There will be a Pre-Bid Conference for all 3 schools Catlin, Conestoga, and King Elementary Schools: February 18, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. – King Elementary School Cafeteria, at: 3706 Maple Street, Omaha, Nebraska for the purpose of answering questions and walking the site. It is MANDATORY that bidders are required to be present, both General Contractors and their Mechanical Subcontractors.

Bid Info:   Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, Douglas County, Nebraska, for the Omaha Public Schools Catlin, Conestoga, and King Elementary Schools combined project, will be received in the office of District Operational Services, Omaha Public Schools, 3215 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68131- 2024 until 2:00 p.m., February 28, 2019. The time clock maintained by District Operational Services, shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for close of bidding. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud and tabulation will be made to present to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting for consideration in awarding the Contract. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened. The time clock maintained by OPS District Operational Services shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for close of bidding.

Public Notes:
The project consists of upgrades to be made to major building systems and infrastructure. This is a combined project with deferred maintenance work for OPS Catlin Elementary School; Conestoga Magnet Elementary School; and King Elementary School, all here in Omaha, Nebraska. The main components of the project work are as follows: Work under this contract includes all materials, labor, tools, expendable equipment, utility and transportation services, and all incidental items necessary to perform and complete, in a workman like manner, the Work required for the Combined Construction, including General, Civil, Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Work for this project; These existing Elementary Schools will remain in service and fully occupied throughout the construction period. The renovation consists of remodeling and upgrades to existing building systems for these facilities. Demolishing those parts of the existing building indicated to accommodate the proposed new renovation work and construction; Work included but not limited to the following: Site paving, paving joint sealants, exterior lighting replacement, and utilities upgrades, seeding/sod, and landscaping; Selective demolition of the existing building components and systems as identified; Roofing, casework, doors, windows, glazing and hardware, walls, ceilings, flooring, and paint; and HVAC systems, temperature controls, boilers, AHU’s, cooling tower, chillers, waste and water supply piping, food service equipment installation, fire alarms, interior lighting, emergency generators, etc.

Only Complete Sets of Bid Documents may be obtained; no partial sets will be issued.
CD's and Downloads containing a complete set of Bid Documents in PDF format are available upon receipt of a non-refundable fee in the amount of $60.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $65.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co. Inc.
If shipping of CD is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $9.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc.

The entire deposit will be refunded upon the return of these documents, including any addenda issued thereto, to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc., 4320 S. 89th Street, Omaha, NE 68127, in good condition, within 30 days of the bid opening.
